Any organization, individual, or Tribal Nation that is committed to the mission of advancing equity and inclusion by changing racist and derogatory names is welcome to join as a member of CORE. There are no membership fees or dues to be part of CORE.
As a national coalition, we host virtual meetings quarterly. Regional Hubs meet separately and also have time during the national meetings to connect.
The Colorado Geographic Naming Advisory Board on Dec. 16, 2021 recommended changing the BLM's Chinaman Gulch in Chaffee County to Yan Sing Gulch.
